Support Group Services

A Community Space to Connect, Share & Heal

Support groups provide a warm, holding space to gather with others facing similar challenges. At Healing Hearth Counseling, our groups are designed to foster connection, mutual support, and collective healing — so you know you’re not walking your path alone.

Who Support Groups Are For:

Our support groups are open to adults across Washington State via telehealth, especially those who:

  • Want peer-based support around identity and experience.

  • Feel isolated, lonely, or disconnected from others and want to build community.

  • Are neurodivergent and seeking a space that honors sensory needs, communication differences, and processing styles.

  • Are parents—whether new, experienced, or navigating parenthood while neurodivergent themselves—who want connection and understanding.

  • Are lifelong caregivers supporting family members or loved ones and who need a space to be witnessed, supported, and resourced.

About Our Support Groups:

  • A trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, LGBTQ+ inclusive space — designed with sensitivity to diverse experiences

  • Experienced facilitator grounded in compassion, safety, and collaboration (drawing from the same trauma-informed lens as our individual therapy)

  • Flexible and accessible — fully telehealth, open to clients across Washington State

  • Opportunity to connect, heal, and grow in community — not alone, but with people who understand

What to Expect in Our Support Groups:

A Predictable Structure and Format

  • Groups run on a set schedule (e.g weekly or biweekly) and run for either 60 minutes or 90 minutes depending on the group.

  • Groups have a maximum size of 10 members to create an environment that fosters trust, safety, and sharing.

  • Groups are facilitated with a clear structure and flow so members know what to expect each week.

  • Each group includes space for check-ins, reflection, and guided discussions tailored to the group’s needs.

Safe, Inclusive, and A Peer-Centered Environment
  • Facilitated with care, compassion, and respect for different identities, neurotypes, and life experiences.

  • A space to share, listen, support, and connect — with no judgment, and lots of empathy.

  • Confidentiality and psychological safety are prioritized; everyone’s voice matters, but sharing at your own comfort level is always honored.

Growth, Support & Shared Learning

Support groups offer a collaborative space for growth, where members learn from one another’s insights, strategies, and lived experiences. Through shared reflection and peer support, many people gain new coping tools, increased self-understanding, and a deeper sense of resilience.

Opportunities for Meaningful Connection & Community Building

This is a space to share experiences, celebrate wins, and feel understood by people navigating similar challenges. Through shared stories, reflective activities, and collaborative discussions, the group becomes a community where you don’t have to do things alone.
